Position summary:
Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, rebuilds, constructs and maintains yacht piping systems, meeting each commitment not only with precision, but also delivering service with a reassuring style.

Responsibilities:
Bow/Stern Thruster Components
Exhaust System Components Maintenance
Hydraulic Hose & Tube Fabrication
Install & Repair Fuel Management & Filtration Systems
Onboard Fire Suppression Systems
Perform Metal Surface Preparation
Perform Non Critical Fabrication
Perform Salt Water Systems Repairs & Installation
Perform Toilet System Installation, Service & Maintenance
Stabilizer Installation Troubleshooting & Repairs
Perform Tank Testing & Describe Closing Procedures
Valve Overhaul & Inspection 6-G Pipe Weld Qualification, 6-G Cu-Ni, 6-G SS, 6-G Steel Fuel, Fuel Tank,  Management & Filtration Systems Perform & Develop Class Compliant Work Plans Fits & Tolerances Identify, Record & Discern Fits & Tolerances
Responsible for Efficiencies in Labor and Materials
Overtime, nights and weekend work may be required as customer service needs fluctuate.

Required Qualifications
Service/Interpersonal Skills:
• Reading – Has the ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Mathematical – Basic math and metric system knowledge is required
• Planning/Organizing – Performs activities planned by others.
• Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan
• Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly.
• Ability to easily adapt to change
• Ability to use various hand tools such as band saws, drill presses, chop saws, bench grinders • Ability to identify materials, size and composition
• Follows policies, accept external controls and supervision and work within the rules.
• Displays endurance and capacity for a fast pace

Experience and Education:
4 years verifiable Marine piping experience
High School Diploma or GED
Vocational/Technical/Business School

Physical Requirements: The ability to stoop, crouch, pull, push, reach, hear, near vision, kneel, talk, stand, grasp, walk and lift up to 50 lbs are required.
