RYBOVICH IS FEADSHIP'S US PARTNER

Below you can read the press release from Feadship regarding their new program.
A Historic Relocation
Rybovich’s Floating Dry Dock has officially moved to its new home at our Rybovich Riviera Beach facility. Our Marina team’s awesome tugboat operators: Christian Denhard, Jorge Rodriguez, and Eric Bachewicz towed the 3,000 ton Floating Dry Dock from the Port of Palm Beach to our Riviera Beach facility. Once they were close enough to the slip Vance construction took over. Three large excavators operated by Vance construction employees coordinated with our Hauling and Rigging team to guide the Floating Dry Dock into place. The excavators, sitting on the Floating Dry Dock, dove their digger into the water and grabbed hold of the ocean floor below. With each scoop, they brought the dock closer to land until we could secure the Floating Dry Dock down in its new slip.
The entire process was amazing to watch. Rybovich is thankful to have an amazing team that commits themselves fully to whatever they are doing. We would like to sincerely thank our Marina team, Hauling and Rigging team, Vance Construction, and everyone else involved in making this move possible
RYBOVICH IN THE COMMUNITY
In 2013 Rybovich’s owner and CEO Wayne Huizenga Jr attended a Path North event where Beth Ann Telford was a speaker. BethAnn Telford is a brain cancer survivor and avid marathon runner. Her courage and bravery is inspirational and she has competed in incredible events such as the Iron Man, Rim to Rim Grand Canyon marathon, and 7 Continents in 7 Days Marathon all to benefit Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure (ABC2). In 2014, Wayne Huizenga Jr accompanied by Rybovich employees and yacht crew participated in the Florida Brain Cancer 5k with BethAnn and her family. Then, in 2015 Rybovich became the presenting sponsor for the race and continues to be so each year since.
In 2016 the Brain Cancer 5k hit home with Wayne Jr. A few months before the annual February race, his niece Caroline was diagnosed with a rare tumor on her brain stem called DIPG. At the young age of nine years old, she was only given a few months to live. Caroline fought hard and benefited greatly from the many advances that had been made in Brain Cancer Research but went to be with the Lord on March 18th, 2017. Now, as we prepare to take part in this 5k again in February we will be doing so in honor of Caroline and with hope that one day we will have a cure for Brain Cancer.
